During the hatching, the baby turtles will break through the sand and instinctively crawl toward the sea under the moonlight and sometimes it happens on a different timing of the day — an unforgettable and emotional moment to watch. Protection and Care
The nest is currently under protection, and our team is monitoring it daily to ensure the hatchlings are safe from birds and other beach predators. Guests will also have the opportunity to gently guide and protect the turtles as they make their way to the water.
Name and Follow a Turtle
As part of this special event, you may even be able to name one of the hatchlings and follow its journey around the island’s reef as part of our conservation efforts.
